In Store Concert @ Piolalibri

March., whose real name is Marcello Mereu, is a singer-songwriter born in Sardinia, Italy. Since leaving Italy at a young age, March. has lived in four countries: the UK (where he did most of his studies, among which a degree in Drama & Theatre Studies and one in Psychology), France, Belgium and Spain.

His name comes from an abbreviation of Marcello, used by some of his friends, and the singer’s birth month. 

Whilst living in Brussels, March. started working with producers and musicians Mika Somppi and Alessandro Cirone on the creation of his ongoing project: Safe & Unsound, his debut album. Safe & Unsound will include 12 songs.

March.’s wide-ranging influences can easily be heard in his songs. Amongst these are: Fiona Apple, Alanis Morissette, Depeche Mode, Garbage, Tori Amos, the Pet Shop Boys, Florence and The Machine, P!nk, Everything But The Girl and Beth Orton. March. Has been singing and writing songs since a very early age. He has also acted, sung and danced in a number of productions such as Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and more recently in The Adventures of Pinocchio. Both shows were critically acclaimed and played to a full audience in the UK.

Safe & Unsound will be released in April 2018. To celebrate the release March., accompanied by a full band, will showcase his songs live in a concert called March. in April which will take place on 27 April 2018 at PiolaLibri in Brussels, Belgium.
